Downtown Stocking Stroll
For our patients with little ones, the 4th Annual Downtown Stocking Stroll is a fantastic way to introduce your little ones to the excitement of the city. This event is open to everyone (including pets), so grab your stocking and head downtown to receive treats from local businesses and merchants. This event is on Saturday, and things start to kick off around 11:00am.
Alongside the walk, The Boho Market will set up shop at Main Street Garden until 4:00pm. Be sure to swing by for some hot cocoa and train rides for the little ones Take the time to shop in one of the most beautiful locations in the city and see the festivities. The Neiman Marcus Christmas display is always worth a visit!
Dallas Opera Holiday Concert
The Cathedral Guadalupe in the Arts District is another gorgeous location in our city, and the holidays make it an extra special place to visit this time of year. Sunday evening from 7-9:00pm, the Dallas Opera is hosting their annual concert at the cathedral. This spectacular event allows you a way to share the wonders of classical music without the high costs that can come alongside a performance.
Showtime Saturday
Another great way for the kids to experience quality programming is at The Galleria, where they hold an amazing children’s show each week. Showtime Saturday starts at noon on the third floor, and generally runs about two and a half hours.
The Galleria is also hosting their annual Menorah Lighting a little later in the day. If you have a chance, stick around and learn some of the amazing history of the Jewish faith. Keep the spirit of Chanukah with remarks from Rabbi Andrew Paley of Temple Shalom. There will also be performances and sufganiyot, which is a delicious Israeli doughnut!
