While removable prosthetics are effective, they don’t stimulate the growth of bone structure, which causes the jaw ridge to break down and change shape, necessitating the replacement of your prosthetics. But with overdentures, we insert multiple dental implants into the jaw and then attach a custom prosthetic to them. The prosthetic is removable for cleaning, but once in place will never slip.
